Alice Lyon Certified Medical Herbalist, Diplomat Phytotherapy, MNIMH, MRCHM

Alice has been involved with Herbal Medicine for over 18 years. She is a licensed Medical Herbalist and her practice encompasses the use of both Western and Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine. Alice is a member of the National Institute of Medical Herbalists and the Register of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). She trained initially at the School of Phytotherapy in the United Kingdom (Membership of the National Institute of Medical Herbalists), where she studied Western Herbal Medicine and received her Diploma in Phytotherapy. She followed her education with a practice at Brackenbury Health Centre and Stratford in London. Alice's training in TCM began with a two-year program in Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine in London and was followed by an additional two years of training at the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Guangzhou, China. She also completed two years of studies in Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine at Regents College in London.

Alice has been running an herbal clinic in London for several years and has also served as a consultant to both industry and herbalists professionals. She is a co-author of a book: "The Chinese Herbal Cookbook, Healing Foods from East and West", a therapeutic cookery book containing 120 creative recipes using herbs and foods to help combat common health problems and improve inner harmony.
