Ingredients for a pimple!

We all know what acne is and the cases of it to our skin, and if this doesn’t ring a bell, check out our informative post on what is acne and how to improve acne symptoms. Nevertheless, it is important to understand the lifespan of a pimple in order to better tackle it, at the different stages from within. The birth of a pimple starts when the pores are clogged up with dead cells mixed with oil creating a clump in forming a plug. Due to the lack of oxygen, the pimple then continues to grow with the infiltration of bacteria. Your body then responds by sending white blood cells to fight these bacterial invaders. This leads to the next stage in the acne life cycle, inflammation. As the body fights the bacteria, your skin becomes inflamed which leads to those red bumps, pimples, or cysts. On the other hand, when the white blood cells die and accumulate in the pore, along with other debris and fluid, this forms a pus-filled whitehead. With time, the infection heals on its own, leaving a scab behind. The dead cells of the scab dissolve leaving a scar. Eventually, healthy cells replace the dead cells of the scar, and your skin returns to its clear state!

Instead of spending your money on countless quick fixes, think about the long-term goal, which is getting to the root cause of your acne and preventing it from happening. It will save you a lot of time and money in the end. Not to mention, since we know that the origin of acne is internal, it makes sense to treat it internally, right? Add AcnEase to your Santa’s wish list!
